ENOVATE ENGINEERING WELCOMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF SAFETY AND RISK

Enovate Engineering has hired David Chalagonian Olcott to serve as Vice President of Safety and Risk. David brings over 15 years of experience providing oversight on many major environmental remediation and construction projects to Enovate. Throughout his career, David has garnered expertise in safety, hazardous waste and remediation operations, OSHA standards and environmental compliance. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) as well as an authorized OSHA Instructor.

David most recently served as Director of Safety and Health for The Conti Group, where he was responsible for overseeing safety, risk and compliance company wide. He was also responsible for formulating, administering and coordinating programs for the company to reduce the risk of loss. He developed written detailed policies and procedures covering elements in the Corporate Safety, Health and Environmental Program and was responsible for the development, implementation, oversight and enforcement of the Corporate Safety, Health and Environmental Programs across multiple operating units including Heavy Civil Construction, Solar Energy, Oil and Gas Pipeline, Federal and International Operations.
Following the old adage that “it takes leadership to improve safety”, Aine O’Dwyer commented, “David has proven himself to be a leader in the safety and risk field time and time again. I’m very excited that he has chosen to join the Enovate Team.” She continued, “I’m looking forward to providing additional opportunities to our clients based on David’s expertise.”
In his new role at Enovate, David will be spearheading safety operations for Enovate and Enovate’s clients to include performing safety, risk, and environmental consulting services.  David’s diverse background and qualifications will allow Enovate to provide our clients with safety and risk engineering expertise in the heavy civil infrastructure, environmental, and vertical markets through expert consulting and staffing services to the industry.
