ONA DUDONIS NAMED TO NJBIZ 2019 GENERAL COUNSEL OF THE YEAR, OUTSTANDING FINALISTS LIST

Enovate is pleased to announce Ona Dudonis has been named to NJBIZ’s 2019 General Counsel of the Year, Outstanding Finalists list.

The 2019 NJBIZ General Counsel of the Year Awards program honors New Jersey’s standout General Counsels and Chief Legal Officers for the critical role they play in making their companies successful. Following an open nomination process, submissions were evaluated in six categories by a panel of independent judges for career accomplishments, organizational contributions, legal victories and community and professional service.

Winners for all categories were announced at a breakfast and ceremony event on May 29 at the Doubletree Hotel in Somerset, New Jersey.

Ona joined Enovate in 2017 and prides herself on her pivotal part in taking Enovate from a little-known start-up to a well-known and respected firm. This included the arduous task of teaching legalities and contract language to engineers(!), steering the company through a rebranding effort and negotiating favorable contract terms and obtaining licensing and Women Owned Business (WBE) certifications in the tri-state area. She has gone above and beyond legal responsibilities and leads the process of developing Enovate's Sharepoint Intranet to assist with communication, record retention, security and creating workflows for more efficient project management.

When Ona is not deep in new contracts review for Enovate, she’s spending time on her boat enjoying the Jersey Shore waters.
