PS 20 New Gym Annex

The Universal Physical Education Initiative set our to provide a select number of schools in all five boroughs with a designated physical education space by 2021. While all schools are required to provide physical education, not all schools have space. Public School 20 in Staten Island is part of this initiative. The client is constructing a new 4,536 square foot, one-story stand-alone gym annex building with pre-cast concrete wall panels and thin brick veneer. Also included were all utilities, foundations, electricity and mechanical work.
